About
A decent person who shows up.
Handy Menchs is a one-van shop in Central New Jersey — Lakewood, Toms River, Manchester, Brick, and Howell. Closets, lights, siding, the list on the fridge. Not a franchise. Not a lead mill.
The name is the job description. A mensch is a decent person. The kind who said Thursday and is in the driveway Thursday, who tells you when a licensed plumber has to take the next step, who doesn’t leave a second mess for you to find.

01
Name it
Search the quote list the way you’d tell a neighbor. Or just describe it.
02
We look
Nothing is booked from the form. We call, we come by, we confirm the number.
03
We do the list
The job you asked for, and the two sitting next to it if they should be done together.
The towns
Lakewood, Toms River, Manchester, Brick, and Howell.
Ranches, townhouses, the colonial off the Parkway. Basement, crawl, or slab — we ask once so the quote list only shows what applies. If you’re just outside the towns, write anyway. We’ll say if the drive makes sense.
Licensed work (panel, gas, some plumbing) gets flagged before you send. The form is a conversation starter. All quotes are estimates pending a site visit.
From the jobs
What people say after we leave.
“He did the closet the same day. Measured twice. No extra holes in the drywall.”
“Showed up when he said, stopped the running toilet, and mentioned the caulk before I did.”
“House numbers, a sconce, a sticking door. The small list, finished, no runaround.”
“The dumpster screen at the office looks like it belongs there. In and out.”
